A bit of history on the beach. In the past, this rusty equipment supported the unloading of the wooden boats that made the connections between Porto Santo and Madeira. Antigamente, este equipamento enferrujado apoiava na descarga dos barcos de madeira que faziam as ligações entre o Porto Santo e a Madeira. Hoje não resta nenhum desses barcos que tanto significaram para os residentes na ilha.
